Andaz is Hyatt’s new collection of contemporary, boutique-inspired hotels, located in the dynamic, distinctive neighbourhoods of key world cities. Andaz Shanghai, a newly constructed 24-story hotel, features 307 spacious guest rooms measuring 41 square metres, including 47 premium rooms and suites ranging from 80–409 square metres, all with vibrant views over Shanghai and impressive LED lighting where guests can customise the colour to suit their mood.
Dining and entertainment options include Andaz Lounge, the heart of the hotel in the main lobby; Éclair, an all-day patisserie specialising in classic, cream-filled French pastries; and the signature restaurant Hai Pai—meaning “modern Shanghainese spirit”—a combination of French bistro and Shanghainese brasserie which offers unpretentious comfort food and aspires to being Xintiandi’s friendly neighbourhood restaurant.
Andaz Shanghai offers 11 different event venues, from a Meeting Studio that can seat 14–16 guests to a Ballroom that can cater to up to 300. Especially unique is Andaz Studio, opening later this year, which will feature six event spaces, an organically shaped outdoor terrace and a spectacular Glass Pavilion surrounded by water, ideal for a wedding chapel or a red carpet event.
The Spa@Andaz, spread over 2,200 square metres, comprises a swimming pool; a fully equipped fitness centre and private studio; a hair salon; a juice bar and ten luxurious, ensuite rooms for reflexology, beauty and spa treatments.
