Excellent

Excellent hotel. Fantastic service. Great location.

Overlooking Torres del Paine National Park, Awasi Patagonia is a luxury property with 14 villas and a main lodge. Set amidst pasture surrounded by forests, mountains, and lakes, the southernmost Relais & Chateaux hotel offers a secluded location with excursions and chef-prepared cuisine.

Featuring views of the forest, Lake Sarmiento, the pampas, and Torres del Paine, accommodations are set within 12 villas. Inspired by old Patagonian shelters and ranching outposts, villas are built on stilts to minimize environmental impact. Measuring 80 square meters, accommodations have living rooms, wood burning stoves, and hot tubs. Each villa offers clear views of Lake Sarmiento or the Patagonian Steppe, as well as access to off-the-beaten-path hiking trails.

Each of the villas includes a private guide and a 4x4 vehicle for guests to personalize their visit to the resort and Patagonian wilderness. Providing every visitor with a customized experience.

The Main Lodge offers satellite internet access, which can be slow due to the remoteness of the property. There’s also the Relais & Chateaux restaurant serving chef-created locally sourced cuisine with native and seasonal ingredients, as well as crafted cocktails.

Please Note: Awasi Patagonia is open seasonally from September to April. This hotel property may offer both all-inclusive and room-only rates. Please read the rate description information carefully and contact us if you have any questions about what’s included in the room rate.

Five Star Alliance features all of the best luxury hotels and resorts in Puerto Natales, Chilean Patagonia. Puerto Natales is the capital of both the commune of Natales and the province of Ultima Esperanza, one of the four provinces that make up the Magallanes and Antartica Chilena Region in the southernmost part of Chile. It is the final passenger port of call for the Navimag ferry sailing from Puerto Montt into the Senoret Channel as well as the primary transit point for travelers to Torres del Paine National Park, Chile. Twenty four kilometers (15 mi) northwest of Puerto Natales, along the flanks of the Cerro Benitez Mountains, lies the Cueva del Milodon Natural Monument. A museum in nearby Punta Arenas. The Nao Victoria was one of the five ships (and the only one that survived) that sailed in the Spanish Armada de Molucca expedition which discovered the meeting point the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. A realistic, technically and historically accurate replica of the ship commemorates the expedition and allows visitors to experience the historic voyage. Companies offering boat trips through the Patagonian fjords depart from Puerto Natales Pier and take tourists to view the region's many icebergs.
