Set within the mountainous region of southwest Rwanda, One&Only Nyungwe House is an eco-focused luxury resort within a working tea plantation. Offering a rich history with a recently transformed setting, the resort has a distinctly modern energy with all the comforts luxury travelers desire.

Each of the 22 newly-transformed luxury rooms and suites are set within eight wooden villas. Designed to frame nature, each room has exceptional views of the Nyungwe Forest, and all have extended private decks to offer a secluded haven to watch wildlife.

Providing an array of authentic local and international cuisine, meals at the resort are created with fresh and organic ingredients from the chef's garden. Breakfasts can be served in bed or amongst the wilderness, lunches are often served on-the-go, and the unique picnics are served on beautifully-set tables. While dinners can be around the fire pit, sociable feasts amid the flora, or served privately on an elevated deck.

Wellness goes hand in hand with the resort's environment. Unwind with al fresco yoga showcasing mountain views, work up a sweat in the gym, or indulge in locally-inspired holistic therapies in the spa.

Designed to offer an immersive experience, One&Only Nyungwe House provides a variety of curated experiences. Guests can interact with local people while discovering their crafts and customs, experience up-close wild animal encounters with rare primates and reptiles, or go on active adventures such as mountain biking, canopy-walking, and trekking.

Resort hosts welcome guests at Kigali International Airport, from there travelers reach the resort via a luxury SUV or a scenic helicopter ride.
