COMO Maalifushi is the first luxury resort in the Maldives to open in the pristine Thaa Atoll in the archipelago's southwest. COMO Maalifushi stands apart with its understated style, encapsulating the spirit of the Indian Ocean and the barefoot chic of a COMO island resort. Accommodations include 33 over-water villas, and 33 garden villas, suites and rooms positioned amid lush vegetation within the island’s tropical interior. All are built of New Zealand pine with Kajan thatched roofs. Floor-to-ceiling windows open to substantial decks, blurring the line between inside and out. Blue and white decor further brings the sea, sand and sky into the heart of every room, which have high-raftered ceilings and teak floors. Staff here are warm, discreet, with a passion for detail. Those who stay in the top villas (Beach Villas, COMO Residence, Maalifushi Water Villas, and COMO Villas only) will also experience the much-loved private butlers, who can respond to your every need, arranging everything from castaway picnics to snorkelling expeditions.

COMO Shambhala Retreat at COMO Maalifushi is a luxury spa where one can relax, recuperate and feel well, guided by COMO’s expert therapists in holistic health. Eight treatment rooms, positioned over the water and cooled by ocean breezes, offer a range of signature facials, massages and body treatments. The Retreat also has an open-air yoga pavilion offering daily classes, a large pool, relaxation area and spa shop selling COMO Shambhala’s popular bodycare products and Active Living Collection.
