Visit our local fishing village of Himandoo for a glimpse of
the Maldivian way of life. See the mosque where villagers do
their daily prayers, the open-air Children’s Primary School
and the boat yard. There is also a main street of shops where
you can find sarongs and t-shirts to bring back as a memento
of your trip. Friendly local children will welcome you as you
walk around the village. The ocean will surely provide its own
special delights as you travel to and from the island. Please
remember that in order to respect the Maldivian Muslim
culture, the appropriate attire should be worn. Please speak
to our Guest Relations team for information.
Directions to Hotel
Maldives International Airport: After arriving at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport, guests are welcomed by the resort's Airport team. If arriving after 4pm, they are escorted to Male hotel for an overnight stay at their own cost. If arriving before 4 pm, they are welcomed by the team and taken to the sea plane. Maldivian Air Taxi (MAT) check-in counters are approximately 20 meters away from arrival desk of Constance Hotels. The guests, along with their luggage will be checked in on the pre-booked flight to Constance Moofushi Maldives.
