Situated within the heart of downtown Montreal, Chateau Versailles is a luxury boutique hotel offering Old World elegance in a historic setting. Standing on grounds originally owned by the Gentlemen of St. Sulpice, a religious order of distinguished French aristocrats, the hotel was built as a fashionable townhouse in 1911. Combined with three adjacent townhouses, the property was transformed into the Versailles Lodge in 1958.
Today, the property has 65 unique rooms and suites with historical details including 13 original fireplaces, Art Deco lamps, elegant ceiling freezes, and distinctive antiques. Accommodations include Keurig coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and Crabtree & Evelyne spa products. Select rooms have gas fireplaces or desks, and the hotel offers continental breakfast and afternoon tea.
The historic hotel has a meeting room for meetings with up to 20 attendees. There's also a variety of museums, shops, and restaurants steps away from the property.
