Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort

Situated at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountain Range, Hacienda Del Sol is luxury resort steeped in history. Providing an authentic Tucson experience, the desert retreat was inspired by early Moorish architecture, and was a popular getaway for stars of the silver screen including John Wayne and Spencer Tracy.

Designed to mirror and complement the natural surroundings of the Sonoran Desert, the resort offers recently restored historic rooms, suites, and casitas, as well as newly-built catalina rooms with expansive views. Within each of the guest rooms and suites there are plush beds with pillowtop mattresses, minifridges, flat-screen TVs, and custom bath amenities.

For dining, there are two restaurants, The Grill and the Terraza Garden Patio & Lounge. Featuring cuisine prepared by the resort's award-winning culinary team, guests dine within historical ambiance either in the casual bar, the outdoor patio, or in the elegant dining room.

Throughout the resort, there are desert botanical gardens accented by sculptures, paintings, photography, and tile-work.The historic sunset swimming pool and Jacuzzi provides a relaxing outdoor setting with desert views, and the Catalina swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and fire pit provides an infinity-edge retreat with mountain vistas. Guests of the resort can also go horseback riding or work up a sweat in the fitness center.
