Shangri-La’s Hambantota Golf Resort & Spa

Set along the southern coast of Sri Lanka, Shangri-La's Hambantota Golf Resort and Spa is a luxury hotel situated in a city steeped in history. Located amidst 58 tropical hectacres, the property is the largest resort in Sri Lanka.

Inspired by local culture, the resort's 300 guest rooms and suites feature contemporary decor infused with Sri Lankan accents. In addition, Gimanhala Lounge serves Afternoon Tea and signature cocktails, and the Ulpatha Club House and Bar has casual dining and pub drinks.

For relaxation, the Chi Ayurveda Spa has 12 treatment rooms with an array of traditional massages, body treatments, and Ayurvedic treatments, featuring natural spa products. There’s also a health club with yoga, fitness classes, and Aquagym.

Throughout the resort there is a variety of recreational options including an 18-hole golf course, mountain biking, beach volleyball, jogging, Petanque, flying trapezes, and kite flying. The resort has three outdoor pools, and Kids and Teens club with supervised activities, and video game zone. While The Village showcases local crafts including pottery and ceramic hut, weaving and handloom hut, wood carving hut, mask-making hut, painting hut, and Batik hut.
