Shangri-La's Le Touessrok Resort

Following a major renovation in late 2015, Shangri-La's Le Touessrok Resort is a fully refurbished luxury resort on the Indian Ocean. Drawing inspiration from the property’s rich history and the style of Mauritius, the hotel welcomes guests with Shangri-La's well known Asian hospitality.

The 200 revitalized guest rooms and suites mix contemporary styling with rich furnishings and indigenous materials. There are spacious balconies and terraces, Nespresso machines, 40-inch flat-screen TVs, and bathrooms with separate showers and bathtubs. Within the resort, there are three beach villas, each with their own entrance, three bedrooms, and a private infinity pool.

For additional privacy, the Frangipani wing is an exclusive area on a separate islet. Offering higher suite categories, this area has dedicated facilities and benefits including in-room check-in, complimentary minibar and evening cocktails, breakfast, exclusive swimming pool, and a bottle of champagne.

The resort has five restaurants serving Western and Asian cuisines, including the offshore retreat of Ilot Mangénie. There's also Le Bazar with international dishes, Safran with Indian food, and Ti Marche with deli-style items.

Chi, The Spa has eight treatment rooms where guests can schedule holistic and ayurvedic wellness services. Upon request, treatments can be performed using organic and locally sourced ingredients. There's also a meditation garden, as well as personalized programs, and private consultations with nutritionists and ayurvedic doctors.

For recreation, there are two swimming pools and Indian Ocean beach access. There are a variety of water sports available including scuba diving, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling, and big game fishing. For land activities, guests can choose from golf privileges at Ile aux Cerfs 18-hole golf course, jogging, tennis, archery, billiards, and bicycle rentals. The resort also offers a kids and teens clubs with supervised activities, as well as babysitting services.
