Just 2 hours drive from Launceston and 1.25 hours from Devonport, this superb escape showcases the best Cradle Mountain has to offer, with warm hospitality, sensational local food and wine, breathtaking scenery and magnificent wilderness surrounds. The Lodge itself is warm and inviting with open fires, comfy chairs and cosy spots, perfect for enjoying the postcard views or just relaxing.

Set discreetly within this wilderness setting, Cradle Mountain Lodge offers 4 different types of private timber cabins, from the contemporary Pencil Pine Cabins, to the luxurious King Billy Suites. Each provides every comfort you could need.

Around the Lodge, there are more than 20 walking trails to suit every fitness level. Discover animal and plant varieties found nowhere else on earth. Cradle Mountain Lodge is set on the northern edge of the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St. Clair National Park in north western Tasmania.

The Lodge is located 81 kilometres from Devonport (1.25 hours drive), 110km from Burnie (1.5 hours drive), 142 kilometres from Launceston (2.5 hours drive) and 375 kilometres from Hobart (4.5 hours drive).

Directions to Hotel
Air Connections: Regular flights are available from all Australian capital cities to Launceston with Jetstar or Virgin Blue, to Devonport with Qantaslink and to Hobart with Qantas or Virgin Blue.

Self Drive: Car rental is available through all major car rental companies in airport or city locations from Launceston (drive time is approx. 2.5 hours), Burnie (approx. 1.5 hours), Devonport (approx. 1 hour and 15 min.) and Hobart (approx 4.5 hours drive).
