Spread throughout 39 floors, the resort's accommodations range from Superior Rooms to Diplomat Suites with views of the Atlantic Ocean, white sand beaches, city skyline, or the Intracoastal Waterway. Redesigned with a focus on environmental sustainability, rooms are furnished with recycled materials where possible. Featuring modern decor with light wood accents, and a neutral color palette, rooms minibars, refrigerators, and video games. Infused with SoFla accents, there is vintage-inspired artwork, floor-to-ceiling windows, lounge areas and work spaces. While bathrooms deep soaking tubs with outdoor views, separate glass enclosed showers, and Malin + Goetz bath amenities.

Boldly led by celebrity chefs, Geoffrey Zakarian and Michael Shulson, The Diplomat has and a wide range of culinary offerings, including the award-winning Diplomat Prime Steakhouse, plus Point Royal by Geoffrey Zakarian, and the modern Japanese izakaya Mokitail. There's also a range of casual dining options such as the Counter Point and a sweets shop.

The 14,000-square-foot oceanfront Diplomat Spa has a full menu of services, along with a Spa Cafe, and Halotherapy salt steam rooms and saunas. There's an ocean view relaxation zone, fitness center, beachfront yoga, and private fitness and training sessions available. The resort offers two outdoor pools with poolside dining and custom cabanas created by fashion brand Trina Turk. There's also a beach with water activities. Plus, jet ski, kayak, and paddle board rentals. For additional recreation, the property has a kids' club, paddle tennis tables, fishing, tennis courts, and sightseeing tours.
