Giardino Ascona

The Giardino Hotel is located in the middle of the residential area of Ascona, in the perfectly quiet parklike landscape, just next door to Hole 3 of the Golf Course, one of the ten most beautiful in Europe. A modern pleasure harbor is situated 300 metres from the Hotel. The Golf-Clubhouse and Ascona's traffic free "Piazza" are reached in a few minutes by Giardino's own bikes or by shuttle bus. With its pleasant temperature of 24 degrees Celsius, this pool enables you to comfortably swim your lengths or alternatively enjoy the sunshine and some relaxation. For a safe splash, a separate pool is available for our tiny guests! The Garden, in Italian "giardino", is the centre and the surroundings at the same time: the garden grows into the Hotel and the Hotel grows out into the garden. The dreamlike mediterranean grounds are characterized by waterlilies, plants, sculptures, bridges and trees... the garden of Aprodite at Lago Maggiore!

The decoration of the rooms differs pleasantly from the usual hotel standard by being furnished in a Mediterranean style. It was Carlo Rampazzi, Ascona's internationally renowned designer, who has completed the Hotel's incomparable interior architecture towards a synthesis of the arts. All rooms have a marble bathroom with two wash basins, a separate Closomat (Shower-WC) and bidet and most suites have two bathrooms.
